Honored Artist of Republic of Armenia
Artist monumentalist, theater decorator, designer-fashion designer

Born in 1976 in the city of Yerevan.
From 1982-1992 attended the Republican Center for Aesthetic Education named after O. Igityan.Her works were often exhibited at both children's republican and world exhibitions.
At the same time she graduated from the art school named after A. Kojoyan.
In 1991 she entered the art college named after P. Terlemezyan.
In 1994, she was an auditor at the Art Academy of Dusseldorf (Germany) in the classes of famous German artists - prof. A. Penka and prof. Schwegler.
In 2000, she graduated with honors from the Art Academy of Nord-Rhein Westphalia in Duren (department of monumental painting) and at the same time received a scholarship from Förderungs stipendium, Bundestag, Bonn, thanks to which she was able to study at the summer academy, led by famous German artists - prof. Waldemar Otto and Lisa Endris ("Kardinal Schulte Haus" Bensberg, Germany).
In 1997-2000 received a scholarship from the General Armenian Benevolent Union (AGBU, New York) as an excellent student.

Professional activities

  1. In 2003-2010 was elected as a chairman of the youth association of the Union of Artists of Armenia.
  2. In 2003 she was the curator of a youth symposium held jointly with the Union of Composers of Armenia in Dilijan with the participation of 90 representatives of different branches of art.
  3. In 2003  she was a curator from Armenia of the 1st Transcaucasian Art Festival in Batumi with the participation of representatives of art from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
  4. Since 2004 he has been the designer of theater costumes and scenery of the National Opera and Ballet Theater, in collaboration with the best and famous directors of Armenia.
  5. In 2004-2008 was a member of the Youth Council of the Commission on Science, Education and Culture of the National Parliament of Armenia.
  6. Since 2004 has been the head of the ‘Test’ charity foundation.
  7. In 2004-2009 was the designer and chief curator of Moskovsky Boulevard, the organizer of major cultural events.
  8. From 2004 to the present has been chairman of the ‘Total Art’ non-profit cultural organization.
  9. In 2006 she was the curator from Armenia of the 2nd Transcaucasian Art Festival in Batumi with the participation of representatives of the art of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
  10. Since 2006, collaborates with the Center for Culture of Yerevan State University as the main artist in costumes, scenery of the theater and the organizer of cultural events.
  11. In 2007 she was the curator of the international exhibition "Meeting with Ararat" in Armenia with the participation of representatives of the art world from different countries (China, Japan, Thailand, USA, etc.)
  12. In 2007-2012 was the main curator of the ‘Arev-Art’ art gallery.
  13. In 2008 she was the curator of the first symposium of young artists organized by the Union of Artists of Armenia in Shorzha (Sevan).
  14. In 2009 she was the curator of a symposium of young artists of Armenia and Artsakh, with international exhibitions in Stepanakert and Shushi.
  15. In 2009, she was a curator and participant in the symposium of young artists at the S. Shaumyan House Museum in Stepanavan.
  16. In 2010 was the producer and artist of the documentary film "Dashtadem Fortress," shot by order of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia.
  17. In 2019, she was the author, fashion-designer, artist of the project "Transformation of Time through Art," held within the framework of Francophonie, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia and the Embassy of Switzerland in Armenia. In 2019, a presentation show of this unique project was held, which synthesized the following branches of art: fine art, clothing modeling, design, music, animation, pantomime.
  18. In 2019, she became the creator of the Anna Harutyunyan brand. Fashion Art”.

Pedagogical activity
In 2002-2003 She was a teacher at the Department of Computer Design of the Yerevan State Art Academy.
From 2011 to the present, he has been a teacher and head of the Department of Fine Arts of the Yerevan School of Art named after Christopher Kushnaryan.

Titles and awards

In 1997 in the city of Pulheim, at the competition "Advanced Young Artists" she was recognized as the best artist of the year.
In 2011 her work was included in the book "World Wide Art Books" (WWAB) USA. International Dictionary of Artists.
In 2011 she was awarded the title "Man of the Year" in the nomination "Painting" from the Russian-Armenian (Slavic) University.
In 2013 she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2013 she was awarded the title "Best Artist of the Year" of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2021 she was awarded the title "Best Artist of the Year" - "Armenia, Artsakh Diaspora."

In 1995-2021 she was continuously awarded prestigious national and international prizes and awards of various competitions, exhibitions and festivals.

Other information

In 1995-2021 regularly participated in creative meetings, seminars, presentations, and master classes in summer courses for Diaspora Armenians organized by the Ministry of Diaspora. Some works are exhibited in contemporary art museums in Germany, Armenia, the Elda Shoe Museum in Spain, the island of St. Lazarus in Venice, as well as in private collections in Germany, Greece, Spain, France, China, Russia, Armenia, Iran, USA, Japan, Lebanon, Georgia, Hawaii.
Both in Armenia and abroad a number of articles on the artist's work have been published, documentaries and programs have been released.
