Mini Biography: The true incentive to the creative work for Saro Galents, a painter and designer, is to find a theme, to simplify and "humanize" it and attach functional nature to the depicted. The painter divides up a form, removes both a color and point of reflection trying to avoid minor details which can impede the perception. A form becomes real if only it is virginally "nude and "untouched". Compositions of Saro Galents have always amazed by their fusion of natural ease and strict logic of feeling. This logic is not introduced from outside or thrust upon the world of objects. It does not lie within a certain traditional scheme, but depends on those links which undoubtedly exist between objects, the links that can be realized merely by means of painting. Philosophic penetration into the nature of objects is the distinctive feature of his creative method. Making a selection from objects, the painter looks for their peculiarities, likeness and difference amid them. Though Saro Galents does not change his habits and liking with ease, nevertheless he has undergone some transformations in his creative life-from realism to cubism and then to surrealism where his artistic aim has taken its final shape. This concerns primarily forms and ideas as well as the range of the principal themes, images and devices elaborated by the artist with surprising persistence. At present Saro Galents paints conceptual pictures, emphasizing the importance of inner idea and its development-from initial point to logical completion, since Beauty, according to the artist, is only a "Lie", it cannot be revealed but in the harmony and proportions of the whole.
