OUR REALIZED PROJECTS
ACRPC is continuously cooperating with prominent international organizations in the field of human rights to strengthen civil society. Although this list is not a full compilation of all activities, our longevity, commitment and versatility are demonstrated through the following accomplishments:
Present - 1996 | Organized seven Human Rights teaching courses in Vanadzor for 184 participants including lecturers, headmasters of schools, teachers, journalists, lawyers, NGO members and students from all regions of Armenia |
April 2001 | Renovated and relocated the ACRPC office and library to our present location with the support of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) |
August 2000 | Selected as a cooperating NGO by United States of America Peace Corps |
May 2000 | Accredited by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and participated in a regional conference regarding problems of refugees and conflict prevention |
May-September 2000 | Participated as a co-author in the UNDP report Human Rights and Human Development Report/Armenia 2000 |
Janyary 2001 | Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Armenia agreeing to provide Human Rights educators to schools in all regions of Armenia |
