In the first Chapter diagnostic errors in regard of laboratory and instrumental methods of patient examination were analyzed. To percieve the large variety of internal deseases leading to the renal affection the authors have described the contemporary classification of nephropatphies.
In the second Chapter one of the most urgent problems of the internal medicine, namely, arterial hypertension is considered. Modern aspects of pathogenesis, essential hypertension clinics and certain forms of symptomatic arterial hypertension (pheochromocytome, Conn's syndrome, renovascular hypertonia, etc.) and the main errors in their diagnostics are considerd.
In the third Chapter înephritic masksď of some deseases from the ilne of rheumatic ones, such as systematic lupus erythematosis, rheumatic fever, Goodpasture's syndrome and Wegener's granulomatosis are considered.
In the fourth Chapter the renal affections at periodic deseases (Mediterrenian fever) are considered. Rare cases of periodic deseases are described, when nephropathies are not of amyloidosis but of the glomerulonephritis type.
In the fifth Chapter various affections of renal parenchima at diabetes mellitus are considered.
In the following Chapter the errors in nephropathy diagnostics at tumors, paraproteinosis, disseminated vascular coagulation syndrome, tuberculosis, liver deseases, chronic cardiac insufficiency are described.
Recent yerars a large varienty of drugs was produced and the problem of polypragmasia, thus that of drug nephropathies became important. This is the reason this problem was considered in a separate Chapter.
Recently many monographies and manuals were published where on a high proffesional level the contemporary concepts of pathogenesis, clinics and treatment of internal deseases are cosidered. However, practically no monographies analyzing the most frequent diagnostic errors are availabele. The authors with great professional boldness analyze these errors and give practical recomendations for their elimination.
The rich clinical experience of the authors enables them to describe in the monography outstanding clinical examples as case records. This makes the book interesting and understandable wide professional circle of reating and understandable for wide professional circle of readers.
