Mars owns advanced technological equipment, supplied from USA, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, and other states which allows to manufacture sophisticated electronic devices.
Production area 90,000 m^2. Installed equipment:totally 2,241 units, including 1,183 automatic units, 251 computerized and electronic units and 211 precision units.
Three-level production control system is established on the factory providing all necessary information for factory control.
Mars has a modern CAD/CAM system which allows to automatize the development of new products and their manufacturing.
By its technological features, Mars is divided into five independent units:

Currently Mars produces telephones of various modifications under the license of French company HPF ASCOM GROUP /including telephones with automatic number identifier/, chargers for batteries, 12 VDC/220 VAC and invertors.
Mars has founded a Joint Venture Astra with a Swiss company Fela Plannungs AG for manufacturing of hard-alloy drills, 0.3 mm to 3.0 mm in diameter for PCB processing which are exported to USA, UK and South-Eastern Asia countries.
Jointly with the US International Communication Technologies, Inc. videophones have been developed and assimilated. The products are designed for export to USA.

Established in 1987. The group of young architects under the leadership of the experienced professor M. Michaelian is envolved in design process of various public, private and housing projects. Many of them are already built and are functioning successfully. The group is interested in developing theoretical ideas concerning the problems of the modern art and architecture.
Uunderground urbanisation may be the field the group would like to concentrate on and suggest its projects in the case of appropriate investmentns.
Menatun personnel took parte in numerous design competitions and awardedvariuos prises.Problems of new architecture and local tradition are demonstrated at the exhibition organized recently. We have a plan of cooperation with Modern Arts Centre in Yerevan and wish to be envoloved in similar undertakings and projects abroad.

Mikaelian Surgical Institute has the following departments: abdominal surgery, urology, operative gynecology, maxillo- facial surgery, orthopedic surgery, microsurgery, otorhinolaryngologic surgery, intensive care department and anaestheology. The Institute is provided with up-to-date high effective diagnostic facilities. Twelve professors work for the Institute.
Scientific practical potential of the Institute allows to elaborate and put into life innovative, high-effective diagnostic and treatment approaches and methods.
The Institute fosters the Residency faculties of narrow surgical specialities of the National Health Institute (NHI) on neurosurgery, urology, anesthesiology and intensive care.
The main directions include reconstructive surgery of heart and vessels, lungs, trachea, bronchi, gullet, liver and biliar vessels, pancreas, microsurgery, true pelvic surgery. Over 7.000 operations are carried out during a year in the Institute.
