A six member group at the Madenataran is editing the Bible manuscripts, basing it on the ten best manuscripts, comparing it with the Greek manuscripts and taking into consideration all the studies on each book of the Bible and the subjects of Armenian biblical scholarship.
This critical edition will restore the text of the Armenian Bible and correct the conceptual errors and missing text found in today s printed versions. This book is intended for all who are engaged in research, scholarship, and study of medieval Armenian literature and literary culture.

Gospels

publication of a critical edition based on manuscripts from the 8th to 11th centuries.

A publication of the Gospels based on the oldest and best manuscripts from the Madenataran and international collections will be prepared. The Gospels are the most important monuments of the Christian faith and Armenian literary translation. The Gospels are being published for use by both experts on the subject and for readers in general.

Agathangelos
The history of the Armenians

Agathangelos's "The History of the Armenians" is the oldest written historical record of Armenian the Armenians to Christianity and the initial Organization of the Armenian Church. It also gives important descriptions of Armenian philosophy in the post-conversion period as well as descriptions of the politics, religion, and culture of neighboring countries, It will be released in four separate volumes.

This multi-volume publication will include the biography of all the famous saints of the Armenian Church and the stories of those who were martyred for their faith. It will be an academic publication based on the original manuscripts with introductions and explanations. The books will be released through a co ittee comprised of academicians and an Ecclesiastical committee

The Atlas of Armenian Christianity

The atlas is the first of its kind and will present enian Church architecture of the past and present. The atlas will include fact-filled maps, photographs (Color and black and white), blueprints, floorplans, etc. Based on academic principles, it will be designed for public use. The atlas will contain legends that specify the locations of significant monuments with their pictures (churches, chapels, khatchkars, and other objects of veneration). The most famous and treasured monuments will be displayed in full color photographs. The text and descriptions are given in Armenian, Russian, and English. Academic director: Prof. Krikor Avakian.

Encyclopedia of Christian Armenia

This encyclopedia, which is being published for the first time, includes the entire history of Christian Armenia and the enian Church, all the events and figures and the spiritual and material culture from the time of the proclamation of Christianity in Armenia until today. The encyclopedia describes in detail the role of the Armenian Church and its organizational structure, the hierarchy, persons renowned for their deeds, saints, and martyrs, monasteries, seminaries, universities, and centers of literature and miniature painting. Facts about Christian culture and events are presented in relation to the history of the Church in order to complete those things missing in previous publications of this sort.

Thovma Medzopetsi

"History" by the 14th-15th century historian and clergyman Thovma Medzopetsi is an important source of the history of enian political, cultural, and social life as well as the history of the Church. Medzopetsi was responsible for the return of the Catholicate from Cilicia to Etchmiadzin in 1441, an important milestone in the life of the Armenian Church. Besides "History," the volume contains other works by the author and for the first time presents his complete manuscript legacy.

The Book of Hours is a collection of music that is considered to be the heart of enian Church music. It was originally formed in the 5th century based on the Psalms and has been developed over the centuries, giving it a national identity. The Book of Hours contains music used at present in prayers. It has been written down in the European musical notation system so that it can used and studied in wide academic circles.
